I loved my grandfather for many reasons. He was one of my first childhood heroes.
He was also the person who introduced me to yoga. He taught me the asanas and, more importantly, he showed me how yoga was both a physical and spiritual path. His lessons have guided me through my entire life, and every day I am grateful for his teachings.
My grandfather showed me by example how a daily yoga practice strengthens the mind and the body. I can’t imagine my life without it.
